But before your device can be located, your device needs to be setup to allow it to be located. Now is the\u00a0time to check and make sure your device is setup &#8211; before it becomes lost or stolen.<\/p>\n<p>For an<strong> iOS device<\/strong> such as an iPhone or iPad, go into Settings &gt; iCloud, and make sure &#8220;Find My iPhone&#8221; is on. Once setup on your device you can go to <a title=\"https:\/\/www.iCloud.com\" href=\"https:\/\/iCloud.com\/find\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iCloud.com\/find<\/a>\u00a0in your computer web browser, or the &#8220;Find My iPhone&#8221; app on another mobile device, sign into your iCloud account and choose Find My iPhone.
